Assuming an hour, it'd be about 20 minutes per section. Might work. I'll codge on it. Ideas and thoughts welcome.
I'll be handing out colored pens and little blank journals for us to use as we go through this. I love new pens and journals. It reminds me of "You've Got Mail" when Joe said, "Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.”
I'm hoping there'll be other nerds like me on the Hineni team who will be inspired by new pens and blank pages.
The "prayer shares with chorus" is what I'm thinking of as a way to both share together and pray at the same time. As people tell us things they'd like to share for prayer, we'll say a "chorus" together to actually pray it right then. I kind of feel sorry for prayer leaders trying desperately to remember all the requests, and this addresses that. But even more, I think that it's beautiful to turn the requests into a joint prayer -- that's what they really are.

Here we go! I am scheduling our first meetings - yes, meetings with an "s". For these first few months, I'm going to hold the meetings both on some Sundays after church and on some Wednesday evenings. After we try this, we'll revisit it.

You can choose! I'll lead prayer and discussion on the same topic
for a pair of Sunday and Wednesday meetings. This way you can go to whichever
one works best for you -- or go ahead and come to both! :)
All the meetings will be at the church, Fireside Room.
First meeting: this coming Wednesday, March 7 AND Sunday, March
11. Bring your Bibles.
